Bible Verse of The Day – 3-31-19 – The Manna

Please click to watch the video now.Greetings in the name of Jesus!

Manna is something that we don’t think of much in today’s world. But it’s the topic of our newest video, The Manna.

In this new video we talk about the test that the Israelites were given by God when He covered the ground with manna each morning for them to gather.

Did they pass the test? And how about us? Do we pass God’s “manna test” in our own lives?

Walk closely with Him in everything.

Sincerely in Christ,

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-13-19

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

As we walk through life we can face some pretty tough obstacles; things that might feel like they will rip our guts out.

These kinds of things will often have us questioning what we should do, which direction we should go. They might even cause us to question our faith. Not so much whether we believe or not, but whether we trust God fully with our situation.

These kinds of situations could range from problems within our family, to the loss of a loved one, severe financial distress, serious health challenges, and many more. It can vary widely from one person to the next.

But no matter what it is, the feeling of desperation and despair can be the same. It can cause us to feel completely hopeless sometimes.

So, what do we do? How do we handle this in a way that will actually help us?

Well, it’s not always the easiest thing to do, but the only real way to get relief is to stop trying to figure it all out and look to God for His understanding. And how exactly do we do that?

We acknowledge Him in everything. We put Him first, even before the very problems that are plaguing us. And we begin casting those cares upon Him, instead of trying to carry them ourselves.

1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV) 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

In time, as we lean more on Him and less on our own understanding, we will begin to feel the weight of our burdens getting lighter, and our stress becoming less noticeable.

Then, as we listen for His leading, we are more able to hear Him and take the steps He is ordering us to take as He “directs our path”.

As we mentioned above, it’s not always easy to get started, but once we begin to get it, it will become more and more natural to us, and we will learn how to do this each and every day.

Trust Him.

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-4-19

Psalm 55:5 (NKJV) 5 Fearfulness and trembling have come upon me, And horror has overwhelmed me.

Fear will stop us right in our tracks. It will cause us not to move forward.

But we can’t let fear overtake us. Be alert and watch for it. And when it starts to come on us, say no and rebuke it, in Jesus’ name.

So many people right now are stuck because of what fear likes to do to us. The enemy will use fear any chance he can.

This is why we need to be careful not to let our guard down. Stand tall and know that God is for us. He has the plan and the way out of any problem we face, as long as we seek Him.

Go after your answer; pray, watch, and listen. It will come along as we keep standing and trusting God. It will come and we need to make our move when it does.

Don’t just sit and wait for it to happen. Take what God puts in front of us to do and do it with all our might.

That means that if nothing new is happening, we keep on doing what we were already doing until we get a glimpse of something else. It means if we are feeling we need to make a change and something has changed right in front of our face, make the change. Go through with it.

God has a way of confirming what He wants us to do. And when He does, we need to move on it or nothing will happen.

What holds us back? Many times, it’s fear. It’s sad to say, but it’s true. Yes, fear will even hold back God’s children.

Will we be the one that says, “Yes, Lord”? Will we be the one that will say, “I will do it. I may not know what will come of it all, but I will go in faith and trusting you every step of the way.”?

Step out today and trust God. He will lead our every step.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Bible Verse of The Day – 10-8-18

Matthew 19:26 (NKJV) 26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

It was April, 1970. I was 7 years old.

I woke up on a Sunday morning and noticed that I was having trouble breathing. Every time I took a breath, it wasn’t only hard to do, but it also sounded funny. It made strange squeaking, whistling noises.

It was something I had never experienced before. But it was something that I would live with for the next 30 years.

My parents took me to the doctor. It was asthma, we were told. It was incurable, we were told. And we left it at that. For 30 years.

But God had other plans. He knew the truth of it all.

With men, this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

I carried the lie. I struggled with asthma attacks, tried so many different kinds of medication, went through so many medical tests. For 30 years.

My life was limited by what I carried. I couldn’t live my life to its fullest potential. My sports activities were limited. My social activities were limited. And eventually, my interactions with my wife and my children were limited by this lie.

But then one day God spoke directly to my spirit. He told me that I had bought a lie, and that this lie didn’t have to control me any longer.

And I believed Him. I believed what He told me. And He set me free from that lie. Forever.

God told me that I could be free from this prison cell called Asthma. He offered me the key, and I reached for it with everything in me! And He used that key to unlock the prison cell and set me free from it. After 30 years.

God healed my body, set me free, and delivered me from this spirit of infirmity. That was over 18 years ago, and I have never looked back.

The doctors told me it was impossible. But with God, all things are possible.

What is your prison today? Sickness? Emotional struggles? Poverty? Depression? Anger? Bitterness?

There could be an endless list. But God knows them all. Every single one. And He knows which one is holding you prisoner.

What’s more, He holds the key that can set you free from it.

It’s up to us to reach out, take that key, and then follow the steps that God places before us.

Those steps lead to freedom, in the name of Jesus.

It’s up to us. We can believe the lie, or we can believe Him who holds the key.

With men, this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Bible Verse of The Day – 9-21-18

Acts 16:25-26 (NKJV) 25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

Where does prayer and singing come from when all is going wrong? It comes from His Spirit that lives, moves and breathes in us. It rises above our circumstances and our situations.

When we are in a predicament and we can’t see the light, what direction to go or the reason why we are even going through it, we need to stop trying to figure it out. That is the biggest distraction the devil will use on us.

Put it aside and start praying and singing to God. Start thanking Him that He is going to see us through it.

Whatever is going on right now, He knew it was going to take place before it even happened. He has a plan and we need to let Him work it out.

Can we find a song within us? Can we stop trying to figure things out long enough to let it rise up? Can we push back the voices and the lies that try to cause us to go deeper and deeper into depression or wear ourselves out with anxiety?

Paul and Silas had just been beaten with rods and thrown into prison. For what? They had done nothing wrong, (Acts 16:16-24).

They couldn’t spend time thinking and pondering about it. They had to go beyond what their bodies were feeling, and what they were thinking, in order to let the Spirit of God turn it around for them.

They let Him continue to work in them even through their physical pain and tattered emotions. By doing so, not only did God set them free, but He brought deliverance to others that were around them.

The prison guard and his whole household were saved!

How we act in a time of crisis, hardship or mistreatment is crucial. As believers, we must be strong in God and let Him guide us and show us the proper way to carry ourselves, despite the unfair treatment we may be enduring.

We don’t know the victory that will come from it, not only for us, but others that are involved.

Lift up our voices today. Pray and sing. It will break those chains supernaturally and open the doors to freedom!! Amen.

Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV) 1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Bible Verse of The Day – 8-19-18 – Wind and Waves

Please click to watch the video now.Greetings in the name of our wonderful savior, Jesus.

The apostle Peter was the one we all know for walking on the water, as Jesus had urged him to do. Peter defied gravity and stepped onto the surface of the water, walking toward Jesus.

He did well until he saw the wind and the waves.

In today’s video we talk about wind and waves, and how they impact our lives.

Please click to watch the video now.

Most times the wind and waves in our lives aren’t actual wind and waves. Instead, they are the things that we come up against in our everyday lives that try to get us to take our eyes off God.

Please click to watch the video now.

As long as we keep our eyes on God, we can do anything He asks us to do. But the moment we begin to look at the wind and the waves, we lose our focus, and we will begin to sink.

Please click to watch the video now.

We do hope you will take a few minutes to watch this video. It’s fun, informative and eye-opening for all of us.

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-21-18

Psalm 9:10 (NKJV) 10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Knowing that we have Someone to turn to is very comforting.

We have Someone to listen to us, Someone to hold us and carry us through this life when things can sometimes get complicated. We are truly blessed with having Him by our side at all times!

He is our Lord, our Savior, our Christ.

When life gets hard, know that it’s OK to cry. It’s OK to have a moment of time when we can just throw ourselves in Papa’s arms and ask Him to carry us through. We reach a point where we just say, ”I’ll do what you say. Just lead me”.

When these times come upon us we can run away from God, or we can run to Him. We can be discouraged and depressed, or we can get excited knowing that we have Someone to help us!

Don’t give up when faced with trials. This is our time to rise above whatever it is that we face, with God’s help!!

It’s our moment in life to watch Him shine as we rest fully in Him.

Psalm 18:1 (NKJV) 18 I will love You, O Lord, my strength.

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-18-18

Psalm 33:16 (NKJV) 16 No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.

We can put our trust in many things, but they will not be what saves us from our troubles.

How many of us have put our trust in our jobs to bring us a life of comfort, a life of stability and material blessings?

How is that working for us? Are we getting the things that we long so badly for? Is it bringing us comfort? Will our current position at work even last?

We don’t know for sure. But, we still trust that it will. We have nothing to prove that it will last even until tomorrow. But we live like it will last forever.

This is the wrong way for us to be thinking. This kind of thinking is why men do not look to or lean on God as much as we ought to.

We are deceived in thinking we have it all wrapped up, all under control. We think we know what we are doing, but at any given moment things can change, and where are we left?

Some people will be mad at God when this happens. Some will keep trying on their own to get ahead. And some will just give up on life. And that is exactly what the devil wants. He deceives us in our thinking and then leaves us to drown in our own sorrow, worry and fear.

We want to share with you today the way God has called us all to think.

He doesn’t want us to put our trust in anyone or anything else but Him. If we give Him our lives, He will help us get the stability that we all long for; a life where we can enjoy each day. Even if trials come, we know that God has our back.

You see, life should not be as hard as we tend to make it.

Yes, we will have trials. But if our trust is in knowing that God will help us through everything, and we follow His steps, we will find ourselves rejoicing in the good things that He will open our eyes to see even at times when we can’t see past our problems.

Rejoicing? In hard times? Yes! With God, even through the hardest of times, we will find joy!

How do we get to this place of living this way? One step, one experience at a time.

Let’s start today by trusting Him with this day. Get up out of bed and look in the mirror. Speak to ourselves and say, “Today, we are going to listen to the Holy Spirit. When He speaks, we say, “yes”.

Then we do whatever it may be that he asks us to do, to the best of our ability. It could be just little promptings here and there throughout the day, to not do something that we normally do.

It could be someone who needs something and they ask us to help. It could be to take a different route to work, school or even to drop off the kids. It could simply be Him telling us to be still and quiet today, not say as much. Or maybe to take a rest.

He may or may not show us right away why He is asking us to do certain things. But that’s OK.

We need to trust that He has a good reason for why He says what He says to do.

He will teach us how to hear Him and to obey, even in the littlest things. Wait and trust Him for His way and promptings.

Psalm 33:20-21(NKJV) 20 Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. 21 For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.

Bible Verse of The Day – 6-16-18

Romans 8:31 (NKJV) 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Enjoy the Lord. It’s a wonderful blessing to know that God is for us!

When we wake up every day knowing that we have Someone like Him for us, how can we worry? Worry and fret should not even enter our mind. The God of this universe is FOR us. Amen.

When someone is for us, that means they’re going to do whatever it takes to help us in whatever area we need them to.

Knowing this and still worrying about things, shows us we are not understanding it completely.

The only time we should be concerned is if we are not doing our part; If we are not obeying God with the things He is asking us to do.

We must take Him and His commandments seriously. Are we going to be perfect? No. But we have to be trying to get it right, the best that we can, and don’t let up and go back to the way we were if we mess up.

As long as we are working toward the goal, continuing to fight the good fight, God sees our hearts and He will be there for us.

2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV) 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Bible Verse of The Day – 6-14-18

Matthew 18:2-3 (NKJV) 2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

We often hear the phrase “childlike faith”. Truthfully, though, the actual phrase “childlike faith” is not found anywhere in the Bible.

Despite that fact, the principle of childlike faith really is there in the verses above.

Jesus called a little child over to Him and used children to make a point; unless we are converted and “become like little children”, we will never enter into the kingdom of God.

To the casual observer, this might not seem like much. But, honestly, this is a very deep, extremely important Biblical truth.

What does this mean and why is it so important to our walk with God?

Because God wants us to look to Him and trust Him as a little child trusts their earthly father.

Think about it. As children grow up, they trust their parents without reservation and without fear. They just know that if they have a need that it will be met. If they are hurting, they will be comforted. If they are hungry, they will be fed. If they are cold, they will be warmed up.

As we grow up, we learn to become self-sufficient. We no longer depend on our parents. We take care of ourselves. We provide for ourselves and our needs.

Sadly, we also tend to do this with God. We grow up as believers and we tend to leave Him behind because we think we have everything it takes to live our lives. But this isn’t how He intends it to be.

God wants us to look to Him just as we looked to our earthly parents when we were small children, trusting Him for absolutely everything about our lives.

He wants us to let Him supply our needs, to comfort us when we’re hurting and to feed us when we’re hungry.

This doesn’t mean that we simply sit back and wait for God to do everything for us. It means that we look to Him to lead us and show us which way to go and how to do what is needed to accomplish the things that need to be accomplished in order for us to be nurtured, cared for, sustained and comforted.

As adults, this takes a lot of practice. It requires us to allow God to tear down all of the walls that we have built between us and Him. It requires that we stop trying to be so self-sufficient, trying to handle everything ourselves, even as He is reaching out and trying to help us.

But as we take the time to get into His word and let His word get into us, He will begin to undo all of the fears and hang-ups that we have that cause us not to trust Him.

And instead, He will teach us how to trust Him as a child trusts their earthly parents, with no hesitation and no reservations.
