(Hebrews 4:13 NKJV) And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Basically, everything we do and say is seen by God. We don’t need to worry about Him missing anything because nothing will be missed. That goes for all the good things as well as the bad things.
We must give account for these things. As long as we repent for the bad things, God will forgive us. Then we must work at changing it up so we don’t continue to repeat those things.
This verse can help us a lot if we let it. I remember in school, the day before a test, the teacher would give us some pointers or do a review of what may be on the test… like a heads up. Why? Simply to prepare us, so that we could do well and pass the test. Those that paid attention usually did really well.
This verse is kind of like a little review or a reminder.
Instead of waiting to get to heaven and having to give account for all kinds of things, let us learn to give account to God on a daily basis and let God help us to change things, if needed.
