Where are the nine? That’s the question that Jesus asked after healing 10 lepers, and only one returned to thank Him. And that’s the title of our new video.

In the video we talk about the nine and how it relates to our own lives as believers.

We hope that you’ll take a few minutes and watch it.

Bible Verse of The Day – 1-10-19

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Being thankful for what we have is something to keep at the forefront of our hearts and minds.

Sometimes it can be very easy to forget the hardships that God has brought us through. The sting we felt and tears we shed fade away into the past.

How about the heartache and fear that was so heavy at night when we laid awake in bed, trying to figure it all out? Have they just slowly become a distant memory?

It can be easy sometimes to forget how God, in His omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent way, came through and helped us come through it all.

Time goes by and we forget. The stress we once felt subsides. The tears turn to joy, the heartache heals and the fear, if we’re not careful, can turn into pride.

After all God brought us through, and our situation is behind us, remember Who set us free. Remember Who brought us out of our hardship, our situation. And don’t forget to remain in Him, and stay thankful for all that He will continue to help us with every day for as long as we live.

John 16:33 (NKJV) 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 12-29-18

Thank You!Philippians 3:14 (NKJV) 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Dear Beloved family in Christ,

2018 is quickly coming to a close. We want to say thank you for all of your help this year.

At the beginning of this year, God laid it upon our hearts to press in to Him and go stronger and harder than before, to share His words of love and hope with more people around the world.

We need your help in doing this more than you know. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for your obedience in following God’s direction to help us.

Living the way we do, 100% by faith each day, can be difficult at times. And it surely is different than what we were used to before we answered God’s call. But we never look back. We love what we do and we love all of you!

Our hearts have grown closer to God. He is our everything. And all of you are very dear and special to us.

We just wanted you to know, “we love you guys.” And we are all working together, pressing toward this goal. Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-7-18

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Thank you, God, for taking us through the storm.

There were days that we thought we were going to lose everything. But, even in that time You had brought us to a place where, even if that happened, we knew it would be OK because we still had You.

Thank you for training us up in the way we should go. Some things in this life are very tempting at times. But with Your deep impartation in our hearts You stand tall above the temptation and give us the strength to walk away and do the right thing.

Thank you God, for Your goodness day and night. Oh how we are safe with You! Nothing in this world can replace your faithfulness. Your love for us is more than enough.

We love You Lord. Thank you for being You. Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 6-30-18

Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Praise the Lord for He is good! Amen.

Ever feel like you are on top of the world, like you are in one of those seasons of your life where you are just so thankful for everything?

Or maybe you just realize how blessed you are. You look around and you see how far God has brought you.

How about when we are helping someone that is going through a lot and we realize, “WOW, and I thought I had it bad.”

Sometimes we can get so caught up in all our work and the busyness around us that we don’t stop to notice or enjoy the blessings in our lives.

While we were taking a walk today, we were talking and enjoying the time together outside. I was thinking about how blessed we are to be able to walk, talk, enjoy the outdoors and to have each other to share it with. Look how many blessings there are even in just taking a walk.

There are huge blessings all around us. It’s important that we take a few moments and embrace God and what He is doing in our lives. Thank Him and give Him praise!

We all have wonderful things in our lives that we can be thankful for. We just have to take the time to see them.

Bible Verse of The Day – 6-12-18

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Thank you, Lord, for your provision is always in the right timing and exactly what is needed.

Today as I reflect on the wonderful things God has done for us, I am reminded of how we really don’t have to worry about anything. Worrying wastes a lot of precious time.

When we worry, our mind gets caught up in the negative, the “what ifs”. It really takes away from thanking God for the things that He wants to do or has already done in our lives.

If we can thank God in times of trouble, famine, discomfort, bad reports, etc., we really do have an understanding of Who our Source is. Amen.

God will provide for us. That is not the question and we do not have to worry about that.

The question is, will we give Him a chance and begin to thank Him for His answer? Will we allow God to take the time that is needed? And during that time, will we continue to take the steps of obedience that God shows us individually, pertaining to each situation?

Start to thank Him today for His provision, and get things moving forward. Then take the steps He shows us, one day at a time. There is no time for worrying, only for thanking Him. Hallelujah!

Psalm 107:8 (NKJV) 8 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

Bible Verse of The Day – 4-7-17

Luke 17:15-17 (NKJV) 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. 17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

Most people get very excited about the things that God does for them. We all do it. God provides something for us, or answers a prayer, and we can’t help but show our excitement or celebrate the victory.

God has done so much for so many of us. It’s safe to say that if we were to sit down and begin to make a list of our blessings, and the things God has done on our behalf, we could name off a lot of things.

What happens very often, though, is that we get so excited about our blessings that we forget to say “Thank You”. Our blessing or breakthrough comes and we completely forget Who it was that made it happen. We are all guilty of this at one time or another.

In the verses above, Jesus had just healed 10 lepers of their terrible disease. And yet only one of them even bothered to take the time to go to Jesus and thank Him.

Let’s make sure we are like that one who fell on his face at the feet of Jesus and said “Thank You”, and not like the nine.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-24-16

Psalm 95:1-2 (NKJV) 95 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

Giving thanks to God is an awesome way to show Him that we are grateful. Have you ever done something nice for someone and, not that we are looking for a thank you, but it felt good to hear it? It kind of gives you that nice warm feeling on the inside that we did something good for someone and they liked it.

When someone says thank you, two simple little words, it shows us a lot of things. It shows that the person liked what we did for them. It shows us that they appreciated it and it shows that they took notice of what we did. All of which is very comforting to the person that gave.

We have plenty to thank God for and, yes, He loves to hear us say it. It never gets old to Him. Shout out to Him today a big ole “Thank you Lord”, for He is worthy! Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-8-16

Numbers 11:5-6 (NKJV) 5 We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; 6 but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!”

God delivered the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and led them into freedom.

They watched as God parted the Red Sea and they walked across, with the ocean being held up on either side of them. And then they witnessed the entire Egyptian army being swallowed up by that very same ocean, as God released the waters and allowed them to fill in that very area where they had just crossed safely.

And as they woke each morning, they saw the ground covered with manna, bread from heaven that had fallen while they slept.

God provided for them in every way conceivable. He fed them. He kept them clothed. And he protected them from the sun and the darkness.

And yet, despite everything that they saw God do, they complained. They grew impatient and demanded that God send them meat, for they were tired of manna.

Wow! God was feeding them every day by His hand. A true miracle. Yet they grew tired of it and became ungrateful.

How about us? Have we become tired of anything that God has done for us? Have we become complacent or unappreciative? Are we complaining about what He has done for us or blessed us with?

Maybe it’s time for us to check ourselves and take inventory of all that God has done. And maybe in doing so we will be reminded of things that we had actually forgotten about or have begun to take for granted.

We might not have everything that we’d like to have. There may still be things that we want. But we should never reach a point of being ungrateful for what we already have. And if we have, let’s repent and ask God to touch our hearts and ask God to forgive us and give us a renewed sense of thankfulness and gratefulness.

Bible Verse of The Day – 9-17-16

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Paul doesn’t say to only give thanks when things are going well. Or give thanks when we are in the mood. He doesn’t say, give thanks only when we are in church or at Bible study. Nope. He said, “in EVERYTHING”!

Why?

Because it is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us. There is no other reason other than it being God’s will.

That is reason enough.

This is a nice little reminder today to not put off our thankfulness for when we FEEL like it, or when we have received our answer from God. But to stop what we are doing and give Him thanks, love on Him and show Him how grateful we are.

There will always be some situation or someone that will try to keep us from being thankful. But that is not going to stop us today. We are going to be thankful anyway. Amen.
