Bible Verse of The Day – 4-6-12

(Gal 6:9 KJV)  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

How many of us are in a challenging season right now?

Everything in us is saying “when is this ever going to change? When will I get my raise? When will these people stop with their gossip about me? When will my child respect me and listen to what I have to say? When will my spouse pay attention to me? When, when when?”

Don’t give up… faint NOT! Don’t even entertain these thoughts. When they come at you, you come right back with “IN DUE SEASON”, because that’s what God says!!

Repeat these words: “In Due SEASON we shall REAP”.

We claim this promise over your situations today.

Bible Verse of The Day – 4-4-12

(Mat 14:29-31 NKJV)  So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. {30} But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” {31} And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Peter was doing pretty good until he looked around, giving attention to his circumstance rather than what He was asked to do. He wasn’t afraid until he looked around.

Jesus said “Come”. If Peter stayed focused on what Jesus told Him to do he would have made it to Him. Instead, Peter look around and it caused fear, and fear caused him to doubt.

I think sometimes we forget who our Papa is and the fact that if He tells us to do something, He will prepare us and give us what we need to do it. Our focus needs to be on Him and the things He asks of us to do.

Let’s get out of the boat and walk on water today!!

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-29-12

(Deu 10:17 NKJV)  “For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.

As I was driving home from running some errands, I pondered on what today’s Bible Verse would be about. All I heard was “Great God”. So I looked that up and this is what God lead me to.

We serve the God of all creation; the creator of all we see.

He is the God of gods and Lord of lords. There is none like Him or above Him.

He holds the world in His hands. Nothing that happens surprises Him.

This is who we call Father, Healer, Provider, and Creator. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He knew us before we were born.

He has called us to Himself, to love Him and to be loved.

Stop what you’re doing right now and thank Him for who He is. Tell Him how much you love Him. It’s what we were created for.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-27-12

(Luke 18:27 KJV)  And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

I know that there are some of us today that need a breakthrough. We are expecting everyday to see just a little glimpse to let us confirm that it’s coming! We know that God is so faithful; that is not even the issue.

Today I ask you to listen to what God is saying in this verse. Let it speak to your heart and hold on to it, because God does not lie. Don’t just believe God for little, man-made ideas and thoughts. Believe Him for the impossible!!

Moving forward in this life depends on how much you obey God and whether you believe Him for the impossible.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-22-12

(Phil 4:11-12 NKJV) Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: {12} I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Paul was content whether he was doing well or not so well. But nevertheless He knew that God would come through and deliver him at all times. He knew that His life was with God no matter what happened to Him and that was all He needed.

We are a child of the Almighty God! He is our Father. He cares about us, He loves us dearly and He wants the best for us!

Believe Him for that new job, new car, bigger pay increase, to be able to stay home with your children, to deliver your teen from bad influences, to give you a child you’ve been waiting for, to restore your broken marriage, to heal you and to bring on the breakthrough that you need.

Love Him today with all your heart and sing to Him. Talk to Him…tell Him how wonderful He is and thank Him for taking good care of you.

We can be content in HIM… He is all we need!

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-16-12

(Rom 12:19 NKJV)  Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

During the last several months, God has been trying to teach me about this verse. Notice I said “trying” to teach me?

We have walked through some tests and trials during the last several months, especially when it comes to personal attacks coming from people that we know personally. I know that the enemy is using these people, but I have to admit that there have been moments when I have had a little bit of a hard time keeping myself from wanting to take matters into my own hands and getting in their faces.

As a husband and a father, I have a fiercely-protective side of me that I am learning to restrain in certain situations. It’s not been an easy thing for me, but God is teaching me a lot through all of this.

I have also learned that there are times when people just simply don’t want to work out disagreements, no matter how badly you want to. So most times it really is better to just put some things aside and move on, letting God handle it for you.

Despite the fact that it often looks like the bad guys always win, God keeps reminding me that the “victories” that the bad guys seem to have are only temporary and are taking place in a temporal world, whereas He gives us victory for eternity.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-10-12

(Gen 16:2 NKJV)  So Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai.

I suppose at the time that Sarai told Abraham this, she thought it was a good idea… a good way to either help God out or to make up for what she saw was God’s lack of action.

Have we ever done something like this? Have we ever gotten impatient with God and His timing and done something on our own because we just thought we needed to take care of it ourselves?

I can guarantee you that any time we’ve fallen into this trap and done things ourselves, instead of waiting on God when He has told us to wait, we’ve wound up in more trouble than we were in to start with.

Sometimes it can be hard to discern the voice of God and understand His timing completely, but as we draw closer to Him and begin to understand Him better, we’re less likely to make the same kind of mistake that Sarai made. And believe it or not, the entire civilization of the world is still paying for Sarai’s mistake, even today.

Let’s wait on God’s timing and learn how to make good decisions!

Youd Daily Bible Verse – 3-6-12

(2 Sam 22:31 NKJV)  As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

When people fail us in life, we don’t have to think that God will do the same. People are not perfect, but God and His Son are! Therefore it is important to put our trust in Him and know that He will help us, lead us and carry us, build us and make us!!

We love our life and what God has called us to do. God has blessed us with such a wonderful family and good friends; people that support us and love us.

We just want to thank God today that we can trust Him. When He asks us to do something and we are afraid, as we take that step of FAITH He is right there with us.

All of you have been great in helping us to keep going and keep on doing what we believe God has called us to do! There is not a day that goes by that one of YOU does not encourage us in one way or another to keep going!! You don’t know how much you mean to us… what a blessing you are!

We love you all and pray daily for you, and we truly believe that God is doing miracles, healings, restorations and financial breakthroughs and more in your lives and in those lives that you are in contact with. We are sure of it!!

Trust Him with everything. Your life will be changed even more then you can imagine!!

Your Daily Bible Verse – 3-1-12

(Eccl 3:1 NKJV)  To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven…

As we follow God and His direction for our lives that there will be seasons in our lives.

I’ve learned that if I allow God to lead me, I may be doing something for a while and then God may switch it up. As soon as I start to get a little comfortable and secure in what I’m doing, it seems like things change. Seasons come and seasons go.

I’m a person that doesn’t care to change things. I like to know what I have to do and get really good at doing it. I love to plan and organize. But, I have learned to be ready at any time, for there will come new seasons when God has the reigns of your life.

Don’t be surprised if God decides to change something up on you. If you’re thinking you have it all planned out, remember that seasons change whether we think we are ready or not. Whether we’re ready or not isn’t what matters.

If God says it’s time to change, then we just have to trust Him.

Your Daily Bible Verse – 2-29-12

(Mat 19:26 NKJV)  But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

How many of us are facing something today that man says is impossible to overcome?

Have you lost your job? Has someone you love betrayed you? Are you seeking healing for an affliction? Is there something in your life that you just can’t seem to overcome, no matter how hard you try?

Is it alcohol, drugs, lust, pornography, cigarettes, weightloss? None of these things is too big for God. Seriously.

We may face many, many obstacles in life and some of them may seem too big to overcome. And this might be true with man.

But with God, nothing is impossible. He is the God of making the impossible, possible!

I know this may seem like something that’s easier to say than to do, but sometimes we need to really stretch ourselves and BELIEVE that God can do what He says He can do.

Sometimes all we need to do is put forth the effort and believe God for the results. Other times, we just need to trust God 110% and let Him take care of it.

Listen for His voice and hear what He has to say about your situation, your dilemma or your trial.

With God all things are possible.

Your Daily Bible Verse – 2-23-12

(Jer 1:5 NKJV) “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

God does prepare. He prepared Jeremiah; He formed, He sanctified, and He ordained him.

We may feel that God wants to use us to do something big, but we talk ourselves out of it, thinking that we aren’t good enough or that we don’t have what it takes to do the job. Look at Noah; God gave Him clear-cut directions when he was called to build the Ark. (Gen 6:14-21 NKJV)  If God gives us something to do, He will make sure we have what it takes to do the job. We just have to follow His commands.

Moses was kind of funny when God asked him to go and free his children of Israel out of the hands of the Egyptians. He tried to get out of it by saying he couldn’t speak well. (Exo 4:10 NKJV) Then Moses said to the LORD, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”

But, God didn’t buy it. He had Moses bring his brother Aaron with him because Aaron could speak well. Nevertheless, Moses still went on to do as God commanded him to do.

Know that if God is calling you into something that He will prepare you. Take a step of faith today and say yes to Him. He will train you and prepare you. He will help you as you lean on Him for direction. As you trust Him, He will guide you. He will not leave us to do it on our own, but He will be right there every step of the way.

You may already be in a place that God wants to use you to help someone get free. Don’t run from it, but press in and pursue God’s plan.
