1 Corinthians 1:9 (NKJV) 9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
It’s human nature to take things for granted. This can even happen with things of God. Blessings that He has given to us to enjoy can become common to us if we let them.
In this verse, Paul is saying, whom “YOU” were called into fellowship of.
Fellowship with Who? The Son of God, Jesus Christ!
When I think of fellowship, I think of spending quality time together, laughing, listening, talking, praising and enjoying that time.
When is the last time we had this type of fellowship with our Lord, Jesus Christ? Has spending time with Him become so common to us that it is now a chore or a burden, more than fellowship?
We have all been called to fellowship with Him. Let us make sure that it doesn’t get stale, but that our time with Him is exciting, enjoyable, fulfilling, and encouraging.
He is faithful to be there for us. Let us enter into fellowship with the right attitude and heart toward Him.
Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
Amen.
