Bible Verse of The Day – 8-27-19

Psalm 55:16 (NKJV) 16 As for me, I will call upon God, And the Lord shall save me.

Spending time with certain people, people that are going through a trial or a tough situation, can be very difficult at times.

Hearing all their struggles can be depressing. If we are not careful, we can fall into a negative vein and think it is impossible to help them. How do we remain positive and give them something to look forward to?

Remember that no matter what people share with us, no matter what their story sounds like, that if we teach them to put their trust in God, and follow His steps, He will lead them out of their troubles.

We can’t take the steps for them. It’s up to us to point them to God and help them learn to lean on Him.

Oh, the testimonies we have heard from people. How sweet and amazing it is when we reach that place of trust.

He is their Rock. Direct them to Him. Amen.

Psalm 18:2 (NKJV) 2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
