1 Peter 3:18 (NKJV) 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,
Jesus did all that He did, once for all, for each one of us. Why? Because of the importance of our relationship with our Father.
Now that we have a way to our Father, it makes it convenient for us to go to Him, through Jesus Christ, His Son. And we can go to Him at any time.
In the morning when we get up, before our day even begins, He is there. In the afternoon during our lunch break, He is there. In the evening before we get into bed, He is there. Those sleepless and restless nights, He is there. If we are tormented during the night. He is there.
He is never too busy to listen and He is never too busy to answer. He is never overworked or under-worked. He is never too late or too early. He is never too tired. Our Father, Our God, Our Jehovah Jireh is Omnipotent, He is all-powerful. Omniscient, He is all knowing and Omnipresent, He is present everywhere.
Knowing that, what should we all be doing? Going to Him, and spending time.
God wants us to Himself. He loves to have each one of us coming to Him every day, loving on Him, worshiping Him, praising and thanking Him. He loves our songs from our heart. It means so much to Him.
Jesus, the Just, suffered for our sins so that we, the unjust, could go to God. Through Jesus we have the victory.
1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV) 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
