Bible Verse of The Day – 11-30-21

1 Corinthians 1:4 (NKJV) 4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus…

The grace of God is a very beautiful thing!!

I’m thanking Him today for His grace for me and for you.

He has been amazing toward us all.

There is not one thing He has left out when it comes to caring for us. His grace is sufficient (meaning it is enough) no matter how low or how terrible we have been at times in our life.

He cares, and He will look upon us as we seek after Him and tell Him how sorry we are for the sins we commit. He will forgive us and fix us up for good.

What a friend we have in Him. One that understands us and knows us better than we know ourselves.

His love for us is more than any one person could ever have toward us. He knows our mistakes, our thoughts, our hatred at times, and our sin.

And guess what; He still wants us to come and be His friend. He wants us to find a better way, and He will change our hearts in doing just that.

His grace is something that we should be very grateful for, because without it we’d be in a heap of trouble.

Be thankful today for God’s grace given to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We love you all and are very grateful for you!

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-29-21

Genesis 22:13 (NKJV) 13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

Throughout my life I have seen the faithfulness of God in many, many situations, in ways that have just blown my mind.

Most times He does things that don’t even begin to fit into the box of our imagination.

We can fret, worry, scheme and try to figure things out. Then along comes God. And before we can even begin to comprehend what He’s doing, He fixes things. And we are left with our jaws hanging open in awe and wonder.

That’s my God, my Father, my Creator.

This is the God who chose to come to earth in a human body, in the form of the Son, Jesus Christ, to walk among us, demonstrate God’s love and, mercy and compassion for us, and then die in our place on the cross, for my sins and your sins.

He is too big to fit into our tiny thinking.

Why?

Because His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways so much higher than our ways.

And that’s 100% fine with me. So, I will live my life to follow Him, walk the path He has set before me to walk, and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

Isaiah 55:9 (NKJV) 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-28-21 – Blameless

Please click to watch the video now.Greetings, brothers and sisters in Christ!

Job was a man who went through some pretty difficult trials, despite living a righteous life and being called an upright man by God Himself.

There are so many lessons we can learn from the book of Job and the things that he faced.

In our newest video, Blameless, we teach on a couple of those things, dealing specifically with righteousness through Christ vs. living a righteous lifestyle, and how they vastly different from each other.

We think you’ll enjoy it, so we hope you’ll give it a watch.

Enjoy your day!

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-27-21

Romans 12:5 (NKJV) 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

The church is made up of many members, each with a different function or gift. But all of the functions are moving toward the same goal; to represent Him and give Him glory.

We are not to think of ourselves and/or our gifts as being special or any more important than our brothers or sisters in Christ.

We need to respect each other’s position, remembering that we are one body in Christ and members of one another.

We are to work together so that we can do all that God wants us to do here on this earth.

Let us use our gifts and functions to edify each other and to reach the nations for the kingdom of God.

If our gift is prophecy, those that view life with special ongoing prophetic insight, let us prophesy to one another.

If our gift is ministry, those who serve the body in physical ways or rendering of any types of services by anyone in the church, let us use it in our ministering.

If we are teachers, those who are specially gifted to keep an eye on and instruct the revealed truth of God’s Word, let him/her teach it and not hold back.

He who exhorts, let them be encouraging whenever there is an open door.

He who gives, give with liberality.

He who leads, lead with diligence.

He who shows mercy, do so with cheerfulness.

Let us love each other without hypocrisy and stand together in unity that all may see God’s Spirit living in us.

Psalm 133:1 (NKJV) 1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-26-21

Acts 4:12 (NKJV) 12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

In all of our “Christian” hustle and bustle, we can sometimes miss things that are very important to our walk, and our faith in God.

One of those things is the power in the name of Jesus.

You see, Jesus wasn’t just a man who lived, walked the earth and then died on a cross.

Jesus was God in the flesh; God with us.

The name of Jesus is powerful. It’s not just someone’s name, like Bob, Ellen, Sam or Jane.

The name of Jesus causes demons to tremble and flee. The name of Jesus brings fear to the enemy of our souls, and can stop him in his tracks if we know how and when to use it.

The apostle Paul knew this, and he knew when to speak that incredibly powerful name.

Acts 16:18 (NKJV) 18 And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour.

We should never treat the name of Jesus flippantly. It is not a name to be abused or used lightly.

It surely is, though, the name that we learn all we can about, especially when it comes to the power and authority that name commands.

Once we understand this, it will change the way we speak it, and the way we wield it as a weapon in our day-to-day spiritual battles.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-25-21

Romans 12:2 (NKJV) 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Sometimes our heart knows exactly what to do, but as we move in that direction, our mind says, “hold on here. I don’t like the looks and feel of this. Let’s change it up or slow this baby down”.

If we walk closely with God, our hearts will usually know the will of God for us right away. But our mind will cause us to doubt it or try to figure it out.

If we are not careful, our own minds will talk us out of the will of God for us.

I know. That’s scary.

But know that the mind can be very powerful and dominating.

It likes to do its thing. And it loves to repeat itself over and over.

If something new comes along, what is our first reaction? We look at it and think, “what is that? Nope! I don’t think so’.

The mind loves repetition. It loves comfort and it loves to have control. It doesn’t like new things to just show up. It freaks out and goes into protection mode.

That is why we need to transform it to the ways of God. We can’t let it tell us how it’s going to be. If our heart is fixed on Him, He will guide us via our heart, by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Will we listen to our heart or will we listen to the mind?

The heart is what should lead us, and the mind should follow and make it happen.

As long as we are closely following God, we will know the steps we need to take.

Proverbs 3:6 (NKJV) 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-24-21

Isaiah 5:20 (NKJV) 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Over the last 18 months or so, we have seen a marked increase in evil around the world.

We have written and spoken about this many times, urging people to let God help us to discern what we are seeing.

These levels of evil can be very disturbing to see play out. It can be frustrating to watch the devil’s schemes unfold right before our eyes.

But rest assured that God has not turned a blind eye to any of what we’re seeing.

Oh, we may not always understand His timing. And we may even interpret His lack of intervention as a lack of Him caring.

But make no mistake, evil will be repaid upon those who practice it. It just might not be in the timing we’d prefer. And it likely won’t be at the hands of people, but by the hand of God.

Stay focused. Trust God in everything. And keep your walk with Him strong.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-23-21

Hebrews 4:9-10 (NKJV) 9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

During some seasons of ministering we will find ourselves getting very tired.

We may find that there are many more people who are often negative and depressed than those who are doing well and full of joy.

When we feel ourselves getting depressed or starting to be negative, and maybe even angry more often than usual, it’s a good sign for a well needed break.

It can be a heavy load to carry the troubles and concerns of other people.

We can’t constantly push ourselves to keep going if it’s time to rest. We need to stop trying to help others when we feel ourselves getting overburdened.

Too many believers are being beaten down and are giving up from the load they carry, thinking they are doing it all for God.

Well, God says there is a time for rest so we can get built back up.

We are talking to some of you today. You have poured yourself out and there is nothing left to give.

You are feeling depleted and weak as a kitten. You need to enter into some well-needed rest from it all.

Run to God. Find people in our path that we can laugh with and be encouraged by. He will bring the right ones around us.

It’s so very important to be able to pull back from time to time, to laugh and enjoy life.

We need to stay balanced in our ministering and know our limits. When we need a break, we can’t feel guilty about taking one.

Do it for ourselves so we may be refreshed, renewed and increased in our strength.

Isaiah 40:29 (NKJV) 29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-22-21

Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV) 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

God is always there, waiting on us to seek Him.

Sometimes the busyness of our lives can keep us from taking the time to seek Him in the way we need to.

So, it’s important that when those busy seasons arrive, we recognize them and then do whatever is necessary to counteract the busyness, allowing us to stay close to Him in spite of the hustle and bustle.

On a personal level, we have been going through an intense season of change that has kept us extremely busy the last few weeks. We will share more about this with everyone soon.

Suffice it to say that we have both felt the pinch, so to speak. And we recognized the pull of this flurry of activity on our time, since there are only so many hours in a day.

But we have made deliberate efforts to set aside time to spend with God, making sure we stay tight with Him through it all.

We encourage you to do the same. Defend your walk with God and the time that it requires (and deserves) to keep it strong.

And when that busy season comes to a close, you’ll be able to look back and see how the efforts you made kept you on the right track.

Please click to watch the video now.Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus!

We trust that you’re experiencing God’s faithfulness in your lives each and every day.

Sometimes God will tell us to do something out of the ordinary, like He did when He told Abram to leave his family and his country, and go to a land that He would show him.

In today’s video, A Place That I Will Show You, we teach on this from a Biblical and  personal viewpoint, and we share how God leads during those times of transition.

These are important things for us to understand as we walk out the steps He has placed before us. So, we hope you’ll take the 10 minutes needed to give this a watch.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-20-21

James 4:10 (NKJV) 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

How do we remain humble?

We keep ourselves accountable to God’s word. By doing so our attitude, our disposition, our whole being and the way we carry ourselves will be subject to Him.

Proverbs 16:18 (NKJV) 18 Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

Pride is one of the things that the enemy will use to get a believer off course. It will cause great destruction in our life if we don’t catch it and deal with it immediately.

The best way to deal with anything is to be truthful with ourselves, recognize what we are doing and allow God to correct us as His child. He will show us how to get free from it and bring us back to the place we need to be in Him.

Hebrews 12:7 (NKJV) 7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten?

He loves us dearly and will help us and keep us safe in our walk as we humbly stay surrendered to Him.

Do we want to be lifted up today? Pay attention to our behavior patterns, specifically pride, and let God grow us into humble believers.
